What exactly is it? A flip open or a hunting tent? Not familiar with the name.

Welcome aboard, Thunderflight.
Another NC hunter...great.

I do not have a storebought blind yet but have thought about it.

This one seems to be the fat McDaddy of blinds. With a $300 price tag, it should be. I notice the quick set time and portability, definate pluses, but wow, the price.

For that much $$$ I can buy another bigshot climber but I think a good blind would come in handy at times.

Have you actually seen one of these blinds in real life? The only thing I have seen is on the puter. I'd like to touch one to see how durable they would be. smile.gif

I ordered one through ebay $279.00 with shipping. It should be in by the end of the week. I'll let you know what it's like. I hunted the roanoke river refuge this year and there were alot of leaves on the trees so if you were up in a climber you couldn't see very far. I think a ground blind would work a lot better. I wanted to buy one that was good quality and didn't have any wind flap. I also plan to use it for turkey with the bow.

I use a gametracker cabin blind which is very similar to the double bull. I love it have taken 4 turkey with archery from it this year.

I have a Double Bull T5 which is their larger blind. It has 8 windows and is 6'6" in diamiter and 5'6" in hight. I gave $389 for it at local sporting goods store. I have hunted with it for 3 years now. I took a turkey from it this spring and have missed 5 other turkey (bad shooting on my part) out of it this year. As for its durability, mine was left set up and went through a bad tornado with very little damage. I was able to repair the damage at home without buying repair parts but if I had have needed them Double Bull will ship you most any part or you can ship to them and they will repair for you. The blind works great for turkey but for deer it takes a bit more camo, like placeing bushes and tree limbs on or around it. All in all I really like my blind and it is very comfortable for long sits. I think you have made a good choice and will be pleased with you blind.
