With our bow season approaching an end and not having killed a thing yet, I thought I would pass on this recipe for anyone that may be in the same boat as myself.

1- Season any unfilled tags outdoors for 1-2 months in rain, snow, rain, warm and cold weather.

2- Immediately after the last hunt is over, remove the unfilled tag from the back of your favorite camo jacket and let air dry at room temperature for several hours.

3-Conjour up a bunch of hunting buddies that may also have tags that they are willing to share with you.

4-Light a few Tinks Scent Sticks to set the mood.

5-Consume as many alcoholic beverages as necessary to numb the pallet

6-Gather your buddies around the table,.. It is now time to add some flavor to these tasteless morsells by adding some bitter memmories and tales of monster bucks that have eluded you all throughout the season.

7- Be sure to rub salt in any fresh wounds at this time!

8-Add your favorite flame excellerant to the tags at this time (gas works fine)

9- Sprinkle a pinch of black powder evenly over the stack

10- Evenly space the tags in the bottom of a shoebox and place them in a woodstove at 850 degrees for 24 hours. (Unlike a cookie, you want them to
cook thoughrouly and not just brown around the edges)

If prepared propperly you will have no leftovers in the morning.
Enjoy!

Good one Wooly. Hopefully you'll bag one this morning and you won't need to use the recipie. I got four more midnights then off for 12 days. Hopefully one will mess up and cross my path in bow range. Good luck. :beer)
