Nice capture on film. I enjoy looking at my zebra skin hanging on the wall, it brings back a lot of good memories.

James Vee, that looks like an impala in your photo, if true, it looks like a great trophy. Did you have it scored (SCI/Wards)?

You're right on that being an impala Ant. And one of the cool things about him in particular was that I was on a hunt by myself trying to get an impala. He should make the SCI book with lengths of 22.5" and bases of 6".

I wish I had the skin from the zebra I shot. Long story, maybe save that one for another day.

Nice clip! I had no idea Zebras fought like that, I figured they would be too worried about someone shooting them or something eating them to fight.

Zebras are pretty aggressive Wgatlin. Often times when looking for a "trophy" zebra a guide will look not just for one of good size, but one without any scarring from fighting and being bit.

On a side not, to attest their aggressiveness, how many zebras do you find in the world that have been domesticated? Not very many. :nono5)

Well there is that one movie out, but I don't think that has a factual backing. I guess being that aggressive they wouldn't really make good pets.

60% of trophy Zebras are mare's due to like what James said the bite scares that the studs do to each other. And i can say where i go hunting over the pond they do have a Zebra for a pet and he isnt very nice. you cant just walk up to him and pet him there is only 2 people on the ranch that can actully touch him.

I guess that just proves that they don't make good pets at all, I couldnt deal with all that biting.

I had a friend that was was helping a carnival get set up and a zebra bit him right in the arse. :D
