A few years ago, I took a neighborhood kid on a youth turkey hunt... the first time he'd ever been hunting... about 3 hours into the hunt he had taken his first bird.. a 25lbr 10 in beard... and he was hooked.
We'd been out a few times since then and not much luck.
This year he went out on his own... 2nd day of the season Tyler called in a big ol' tom all by himself... another 10" bearded tom.
It's nice to know that you've instilled part of the outdoors into a youth and he continues on with it and that he can also be successful.
