well you boy's are all pretty smart in your theroy's, goes to show, we have some real sharpies here, the biggest clue would be the Mossy Oak bottomland Camo, back in the late 70's, and early 80's, there were few camo pattern's to choose from, Tree bark Camo was a huge brakethrough
back 20+ years ago, along with woodland style military BDU's, which have always proven to work,
But when that MO bottomland first came out in 1985 to 1986, you were really making a fashion statement in the turkey woods, felt like a big deal, LOL i'll bet i was third on line to buy some!!! the year was 1986 !!!
Tom was a wyoming Co. n.y. bird, 22 pounds, 1 1/4" hooks, 11" beard, shame i dont have anything from that bird either, just lost in time!!

Well I was only a couple of years old the year you sent that bird to heaven, and at the time there was only a few turkeys around here.
