2007 Spring Turkey Contest Rules
The Moderators here at HuntingForums.com are proud to sponsor our 3rd Annual Turkey Hunting Photos Contest. This thread is for posting of pictures ONLY. Please do not post comments within this thread pertaining to any pictures that are posted. This will help keep the thread clean and pictures to be viewed easily.
The contest rules follow and are without exception. A seperate post will be made at a later date outlining the prizes that will be awarded for the contest. The 2007 Spring Turkey contest will run through May 31st, 2007.
1. Members can submit MORE than one photo. However, only ONE photo may be used for the 2007 Spring Turkey contest poll. MEMBERS who post more than one harvest will be asked which photo they want used for the poll.
2. The photo MUST be of a turkey that the MEMBER killed legally this spring.
3. Photos of any turkey species may be submitted for the photo contest.
4. Submitted pictures should include the MEMBER and turkey.
5. A drawing will be held on June 1st, 2007 by using the names of those MEMBERS who have submitted a photo for the Grand Prize. The winning MEMBER will be announced on the forum and by email.
7. NEW FOR 2007. WE WILL HAVE A SEPARATE POLL FOR YOUTH, WOMEN and MEMBER photos. THE YOUTH or WOMEN DO NOT HAVE TO BE MEMBERS OF THE FORUM TO BE ELIGIBLE. YOUTH MUST BE 16 YEARS or YOUNGER. Women should be the spouse, girlfriend or child of a posting member. THE TURKEY SHOULD BE FROM THIS SPRING AND INCLUDE BOTH TURKEY AND HUNTER. On June 4th the polls will be posted allowing the MEMBERS to vote for their favorite MEMBER photo, Youth photo and favorite Woman photo.
The poll will run through June 10th with a winner being declared from both polls on June 11th. The winners of Most Favorite as voted by the MEMBERS will be awarded a prize. Prizes will be revealed at a later date.
8. Only one vote per MEMBER will be allowed in each poll. This will be strictly monitored. Any MEMBER that registered after May 31st and voted, the vote will be disallowed. This will prevent someone from padding the votes.
9. The forum cannot take responsibility for any pictures not being shown that are linked to picture hosting sites for the MEMBERS voting portion of this contest.
Again, the prizes for this Spring's contest will be posted in a separate thread at a later date.
