We in about 9 hrs I'll be on a plane headin' for NM. This will be my first ever elk hunt. Today was something other than crazy to say the least. I took today off to spend with my family and pack. Went to shoot my bow and after 20 or so shots I noticed my arrows doing some crazy things. To make a long story short (I'm still not finished packing and it's after midnight) I had to have the serving on my bow redone twice today, for some reason it kept seperating and moving my nock point up, thus angling my arrow. Finished that up and got sighted back in about 8pm tonight, then had to have a quick supper. I'll be back on the 15th to fill in all the details...hopefully good ones! LOL to you guys whose deer season is not too far away!
