I am not sure how the opener for the Northwest section of La went, but I am seeing very few ducks while deer hunting. I am seeing pretty good wads along I-49 just North of Alexandria on some of the interstate ponds, but saw very few in the air while hunting. Even the woodys are not around in number. We better get some rain soon to fill the duck holes up in the timber.

Did anyone hunt any of the big lakes? I heard there were some birds flying around Toledo Bend.

This is an unrelated question, but do you know where Pineville, LA is located?

Yes, it is near Alexandria which is in the center of the state.
