Ivory teeth..

What's the most creative thing you've seen done with the ivory teeth? Just looking for some ideas now that I have some ivory...

Umm I actually left them in my first bull because no one told me about them. I didn't know any better. I have a set from this years bull I am wondering what to do with though.

How about making some nice drop earrings for your wife? I've done that. I also thought about making a necklace by just drilling a hold through the tooth and hanging it on a nice gold chain. Both are fairly inexpensive.

Didn't you say you had a buddy that made knives. I liked the idea of embedding one into the handle. Maybe you could use some antler and have some scrimshaw done with it.
I had a really nice necklace made for my daughter and it gets alot of compliments from the ladies who see it. I want to eventually have a ring made but would rather spend the beans on huntin'em. A pair would look nice on each side of a watch too, but wouldn't look good next to my cheapo Casio.

archer1 - I think for one ivory I am going to have him put it in the handle, kinda like the one I had with me, don't remember if you saw it or not...

how's your deer hunting going?

I did see it and liked it. My deer hunting is going pretty good. I've been holding back feeling I can harvest doe at leisure. I've seen several bucks with two eights and a nine among them. Those three would make really nice first bucks for the boy and two of the three look like they might grow into killers for Dad later. The third looks to have a little age and may be past his prime, he's got good body size, decent spread and tine length but light on mass, actually better than most deer I've taken but not up to my current minimums. I'm hoping to put Simon on him but will have trouble holding him back if either of the younger bucks show up first. Good Huntin tongue.gif
