I just had a Kick-eze recoil pad installed on my Browning BSS, and I love it. I didn't have a problem with the recoil but needed an inch or so added to the gun but I found after shooting it how much easier it is to shoot 100 rounds or so with a recoil pad as opposed to simply the buttplate.
The Kick-eze is a bit more pricey than some of the other pads, but I the $75 it cost me to have it installed was well worth it. (A good share of the cost of installation was in the fact that the gun had a curved buttplate and the butt wood had to be made straight across to fit the recoil pad.)
