I was taking my ML apart just a few minutes ago to clean it for the season end and found a small screw lying in my lap and can't figure out where it goes.

I've got a Knight LK-93 stainless and, after removing the stock and the trigger mechanism, I discovered a small black screw(less than 1/2" long by 1/8"). I assume(bad choice of words) that it came from the trigger mechanism but I'll be dogged if I can find where it goes. Any of you pros have any ideas?

I'll finish cleaning and check back. Thanks.

Weeelz,

Check your trigger pull and see if it seems out of whack. I think all of the Knights have Timney triggers and there should be an adjustment screw but the one you found sounds a little big. I'll look at my Knight this evening and post again tomorrow if I see anything. It's one thing to have a screw loose, it's another to have it out (of who knows where). Good luck smile.gif

Thanks archer. I swear I tried every single place that remotely looked like a screw would fit and nothing. Checked scope, sling, everything! The only thing I can think is that it fell out of my cleaning box, but I just ain't sure.

I dry fired it last night and everything seemed fine. I guess when it falls apart on the first shot next season, I'll figure out where it goes :D
